Something From Nothing

For the past several months the story and person of Mary Magdalene has been on my heart. My prayer has been to know the love that she had for the Lord to love him from the place she did. We all love him some more some from a lesser commitment or loyalty. In Luke 8:2 we meet Mary and find out about her life..(2). And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils. And it states they had infirmities no doubt caused by the demons. It states in scripture that whom much is forgiven they love much. How grateful she must have felt to be rid of those spirits to walk in the light and in total freedom. Only Jesus can stop and see the condition of his creation and have such love and compassion. There is just something when he turns to look at you. How can we not love him? Can you imagine how she felt coming out of the darkness into the countence of his marvelous light and the first thing she saw was his beautiful face reaching down to pick her up! Oh thank you Lord!!! She feel instantly IN love with this God man Jesus.. She became a strong follower and helper to him and his ministry. The world has tried to pervert this story but it is to be expected because so many do not know this kind of love. In other scripture she brought the alabaster box of oil and anointed him for burial giving him all that she could the very best thing she gave to him HER PRAISE! I want to walk in that same love and graditude and loyalty to him because only HE deserves it. What a love story.
